Well as promised our high school production of The Wizard of Oz is here. Our opening night was Tuesday and today is the final performance. The kids have done 10 shows in these 6 days and are exhausted! That being said though they have had a blast and put on an amazing production! We had flying monkeys and Glenda flying in her bubble and the witch and Dorothy both flew, it was great! Ryan is playing a munchkin city father and Lindsey is playing 4 different roles. She is a munchkin, a emerald city girl, a monkey, and a poppy. She changes costumes 5 times and makeup twice. I have to say that I am really proud of my kids for their dedication and endurance! It's been tough! 2 days this week they had 3 shows a day, and they were troopers! Taylor has been such a good sport about the crazy hours and the amount of alone time that she has had to put up with! We love her for that! I was a manager for one of the committees which has meant that I have had to be at every show. Mitch was supervising the fly crew, so he has been at all but 2 performances. This has left Taylor a lot of time to play all the piano she wants and watch all the TV she wantes!
We are so thrilled to live in an area where the kids have these kind of opportunities! It is so fun to see their talents and their confidence grow and to watch them come alive in their characters! I have really enjoyed this experience!

How wonderful! I love watching my kids perform and have opportunities to build themselves- it just makes your heart swell doesn't it? -Just makes you proud to be a Mom and know whats really important in this life- tohse awesome kids! CUTE pictures! Miss you all-

I wanted to tell you that ever since I babysat for Taylor I have wanted to use her name for one of my kids boy or girl. so seven months ago we had our second boy and we named him Jayden Taylor. Thanks for the name!
